After 15 years of planning, the city of Hilchenbach will officially open the new cultural, sports, and leisure center “kmd” on May 10. Visitors can look forward to a diverse program including guided tours, street performances, a family-friendly afternoon, and a DJ party in the evening. The modern complex combines a cinema, theater, swimming pool, youth center, event spaces, and a restaurant—all under one roof. As a designated “Third Place,” the kmd aims to bring people of all ages together. Admission to the opening event is free.
