The groundbreaking ceremony for the start of the expansion of the Duisburg District and Regional Court was celebrated ceremoniously on the construction site on October 10, 2025. Among those who took up the shovel were Regional Court President Ulf-Thomas Bender, District Court Director Joachim Busch, and Mayor Sören Link.
