Currently, the shell construction and facade work have been awarded. The tendering for waterproofing work and locksmith work has been completed, and the specifications for ceiling coverings and interior construction are being prepared. The shell construction work is in full swing. After the construction pit was successfully handed over to the shell contractor on June 1, 2026, the shell construction work has been progressing completely on schedule. In the past few weeks, further progress has already been made. The current construction status is as follows: 1) Basic utility lines: The work is 100% complete. 2) Reinforced concrete floor slab (watertight concrete): The production of the watertight floor slab, including insulation and the fresh concrete composite system (FBVS), is 50% complete. 3) Walls and columns: The vertical reinforced concrete walls and columns of the 2nd basement (B2) are 30% complete. 4) Ceiling work: The formwork for the reinforced concrete ceiling above the 2nd basement is currently in full swing.
The Jung + Theuergarten engineering company attended the ceremonial opening of the Wetzlar fire station. On behalf of the city of Wetzlar and the Wetzlar fire department, among others, Mayor Wagner, Deputy Mayor Hundertmark, Fire Chief Strunk, and other fire department members gave proud speeches of thanks and expressed their promising hopes for the new location of the Wetzlar fire station. The celebration was rounded off with musical accompaniment from the Wetzlar-Garbenheim wind orchestra and an invitation to food and drinks. Symbolically, the key was handed over by the board of the architectural firm kplan-AG, Ms. Mattedi, to the head of the Wetzlar fire department, Mr. Strunk.

The Jung + Theuergarten engineering company sailed across the North Sea with our partner office Architekten Beckmann as part of the company outing. From June 12-14, 2026, we had a great time in the Netherlands. Starting from Harlingen, we sailed to the island of Terschelling, where we spent a windy but joyful day. Shared activities and socializing together made for an all-around wonderful experience.
For our project 'Residential Building Schnüttgen' in Olpe, the backfilling work is underway. These works are expected to continue until approximately the second week of June.
For our project Land- and District Court Duisburg, the tendering for the sealing work as well as locksmith work is currently taking place.
Last week, the topping-out ceremony for our construction project Fire Station Mömbris-Hutzelgrund took place. In the presence of the craftsmen and the fire brigade, the ceremonial celebration took place.
For our Sportpark Wedau project, ventilation work on the roof will begin soon. The final finishing trades are currently being tendered.
The 4th floor has been put into operation. The final work is being carried out on the 3rd floor. This floor is scheduled to be put into operation in 3-4 weeks.
